In the Netherlands, weekly markets are a beloved tradition and a favourite place for locals and tourists alike to discover fresh produce and artisanal treats.

These colourful makets, which are usually held in the city centers, offer an abundance of fresh vegables, fruits, cheeses, flowers and other local produce. Besides shopping for fresh ingredients, the weekly markets provide a cosy atmosphere where people like come together, wander around and enjoy the abundance of stalls. We would like to introduce some of the weekly markets you can visit while you are staying with us on our park!

Harderwijk

You will find the weekly market in Harderwijk every Saturday morning on Kloosterplein. What makes the weekly market in Harderwijk so special? That would be the hystorical setting of the city. Surrounded by the beautiful old buildings and characteristic alleys. And of course, not to forget, the delicious fresh produce.

On Wednesday morning you will be able to find a market in Harderwijk too! This market is located on the Tonselsedreef in Drielanden. It is definitely worth a visit. Even if you don't need anything, you can always come by for a little strole.

Nunspeet

The weekly market in Nunspeet is held every Thursday morning. The market is located in front of the town hall on Markt 1 and offers tons of fresh products, artisanal products and other delicious treats. Besides shopping on the weekly market, it is a social gathering place where people come together, wander around and enjoy the lifely atmosphere. We highly recommend visiting the weekly market in Nunspeet!

 

Ermelo

Just a short drive from the park, you will find the town Ermelo. Their market is every Tuesday morning, from 8am until 12.30 pm. Immerse yourself in the local culture while passing by all the stalls where they sell various seasonal vegetables, fruits and the amazing artisanal delicacies.

Don't forget to try our Dutch specialties, like the famous herring with union and a delicious piece of Dutch cheese from the cheese farmer. You can find this market on Raadhuisplein in Ermelo.

Every Wednesday, you can find the weekly market in Putten; it is open from 8am until 1pm. They offer a lot of different product: from clothes, flowers, chicken dishes, fresh meat to fresh fish, cheese, vegetables, bread and pastries. You can find it all here! The market is know for its high-value products. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere and a nice cup of coffee while having a chat with the other visitors.
