Payment

Would you like to make a reservation now, but not pay the full amount immediately? That is possible.

Payment within 14 days

For reservations with an arrival date more than 30 days away, the total amount may be paid within 14 days after making the reservation.

Payment in instalments

For reservations with an arrival date more than 60 days away, the total amount may be paid in two instalments:

  • 30% upon reservation or within 14 days;
  • 70% no later than 4 weeks before arrival.

For bookings with an arrival date within 30 days, we require immediate payment.

If payment is not made on time, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation in accordance with the RECRON terms and conditions.

Cancellation

After making your reservation, you have a 3-day cooling-off period during which you may cancel free of charge, provided your arrival date is not within 28 days.

For reservations with an arrival date within 28 days, free cancellation is not possible.

After this period has expired, the cancellation conditions in accordance with the RECRON terms and conditions apply.

We advise you to take out cancellation insurance.

The following are not permitted, among other things:

Using the accommodation as temporary housing is only possible in the low season with permission from the park management and the Municipality of Harderwijk.

If it appears that a reservation is in breach of these conditions, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation or terminate the stay prematurely. In that case, no refund of rent or deposit will be made.

Deposit

To safeguard the safety, peace and recreational character of our park, a refundable deposit of up to €250 may be requested prior to the stay.

The amount of the deposit is determined by the management and may depend on, among other things:

  • group composition;
  • length of stay;
  • type of accommodation;
  • nature of the stay.

The deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure, provided that:

  • the accommodation has been left correctly;
  • no damage has been found;
  • no violation of the park rules or general terms and conditions has occurred.

The deposit may be withheld in full or in part in cases including, but not limited to:

  • damage to the accommodation, inventory or park facilities;
  • nuisance or disturbance of the peace;
  • exceeding the maximum permitted number of persons;
  • non-recreational use of the accommodation;
  • allowing unregistered guests;
  • misuse of barrier or parking facilities;
  • violation of safety regulations or house rules;
  • excessive soiling of the accommodation.

In the event of serious violations, Het Verscholen Dorp reserves the right to terminate the stay immediately without refund of accommodation costs and/or deposit.
