At our bungalow park in the Veluwe, your dog is more than welcome. Whether you choose a pet-friendly bungalow or a chalet, you and your dog are guaranteed a relaxing holiday. From your accommodation you can take the most beautiful walks in nature, there are even dog beaches near our park. But there is also plenty to do at the park, think about taking a dip in the swimming pool or enjoy a snack and drink at the Italian restaurant. When may we welcome you and your dog?

A pet-friendly lodge, bungalow or chalet?

At Het Verscholen Dorp, you have a choice of accommodation, such as a Cozy Wooden Chalet, a Family Bungalow, or a Veluwe Lodge. A total of 6 people can stay overnight at our holiday park in Gelderland. Ideal for a family holiday on the Veluwe. All accommodations are fully furnished and have at least two bedrooms. There is also free WiFi, ideal if you want to share beautiful holiday photos. In addition, there is plenty of space around the accommodation, ideal for playing in the garden with your dog.

To do's from our holiday park with your dog

From our park, you can take the most beautiful walks with your dog across the Veluwe. But did you know that there are several dog-walking areas around Harderwijk? At the Veluwemeer there are also several dog beaches where you can have a lovely swim with your dog. There are also several cities you can visit with your dog, for example, Harderwijk itself or the versatile city of Amersfoort or Hanseatic city Zwolle. In any case, you will not be bored during your holiday near the Veluwe with your dog!

Hondenlosloopgebieden rondom Harderwijk:

    Strokelbos

    This forest area is just 1.6 km from the park and dogs are allowed to run free here from Plaggenweg to Dierenasiel De Ark. Parking is free in the car park at the end of Plaggenweg here.

    Dog beach at CrescentPark

    In this park in Harderwijk, you will find a dog beach where it is enjoyable for both humans and animals. This area has plenty of greenery and space and is an ideal place for swimming and playing. 

    Groevebeekse Heide

    If you like heathland and vast walking plains, this area in Ermelo is the perfect choice. Dogs are allowed to run free here all year round. Parking is free on Herderlaan at the edge of the area.

    The Erkemederstrand

    This 1.5 km long dog beach in Zeewolde gives your four-legged friend the chance to swim and romp with other dogs. You can get dog food and toys at the campsite shop nearby.

Can I swim with my dog near Het Verscholen Dorp?

From our park you can ideally take a lovely swim together with your dog. From your accommodation, you drive in no time to the dog beach in Harderwijk or to the dog beach at CresentPark. You and your dog are guaranteed to have a wonderful time here.

How many dogs are welcome in your accommodation?

At our Veluwe holiday park, we allow a maximum of 2 dogs per accommodation. When booking, please let us know how many pets you are bringing, so that together we can find the perfect holiday home.

“Hele vriendelijke mensen bij de receptie en op het park. De ligging is vooral voor mensen met honden echt geweldig, want je loopt zo het Strokelbos in: een flink groot stuk bos waar ze los mogen lopen. Park zelf was ook lekker rustig, weinig herrie en/of drukke bedoeling. Wij komen nog eens terug :)"
