After a beautiful cycling tour through Gelderland, you want to spend the night comfortably. At Het Verscholen Dorp (Hidden Village), peace, space, and privacy are important. Our detached accommodations are available for up to 6 people (Family bungalow 8 people on request). Is your dog also fond of bike rides? Part of our accommodations is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your pet along. Our cottages are available with extras such as a dishwasher, a covered terrace, or a fireplace. "De vakantiewoning was heel netjes bij aankomst; de verwarming werkte zeer goed (we hadden spijtig genoeg enkele minder warme dagen in september) en een prima badkamer. De woning ligt in een prachtige omgeving, er is heel veel groen en het is er heel rustig. Perfect om met de fiets op pad te gaan."

To do's from our holiday park

Besides the beautiful cycling routes, you can enjoy many more fun things in the area from our park. For example, take a walk through the beautiful forests, heaths, or along sand drifts. Tip: Visit Landgoed De Essenburgh or one of the many other museums in the area. Besides cycling, the Veluwemeer is also a wonderful recreational area for swimming, sunbathing, or doing water sports. Would you like to spend a day relaxing during your cycling holiday in the Netherlands? Then pay a visit to the Thermen Bussloo. While cycling, you should also visit the fishing and Hanseatic city of Harderwijk, the versatile city of Amersfoort, and the Hanseatic city of Zwolle. You are, of course, welcome to enjoy the park itself and enjoy the facilities. 

    Beekhuizerzand – Postweg across the heath (21,2 km/13 miles)

    Ontdek de indrukwekkende zandverstuivingen en uitgestrekte heidevelden tijdens deze unieke tocht over de Veluwe. De paden over de Postweg bieden een spectaculair uitzicht over de natuur en de dynamiek van het zandlandschap.

    Zeewolde- Strand Horst Ferry (22.1 km/13 miles)

    Tijdens deze gevarieerde route steek je met het pontje het Veluwemeer over voor een prachtig zicht op het water. De tocht verbindt de bossen van Flevoland met de groene oevers van de Veluwe voor een heerlijk dagje uit in de natuur.

    Around "Ermelosche Heide" (34,2 km/21 miles)

    Een schitterende route over een van de mooiste heidegebieden van Nederland. Fiets langs de schaapskooi door een glooiend landschap waar je in de zomer geniet van bloeiende heide en grote kans hebt op het spotten van wild.

    Around the Veluwe Lake (48km/30 miles)

    De ultieme tocht voor liefhebbers van weidse vergezichten en water. Je fietst langs gezellige haventjes, stranden en groene polders, waarbij je het volledige Veluwemeer rondgaat en optimaal geniet van de vrijheid op de dijken.
