The Veluwe is one of the most beautiful areas to relax. So how nice is it to participate in the WAO and stay overnight with your team in a relaxed setting? At Het Verscholen Dorp you stay in bungalows or chalets on the edge of the Veluwe, just 14 km from the KNHS in Ermelo and a stone's throw from the forest and the Veluwe Lake in Harderwijk. You can bring several dogs in consultation. You walk from Het Verscholen Dorp into the forest and in the immediate vicinity, you will find the off-leash area of the Strokelbos. Should you consider additional activities, fun places like Nunspeet, Zeewolde, and Elburg are also within cycling distance of the park. Can't bring your bike? No problem with us you can rent bikes, possibly with a dog cart. On your return, after a day of intensive competition, you can relax and enjoy a snack and drink at restaurant La Famiglia or on your own terrace of your bungalow, lodge, or chalet.
After a wonderful day of competition with your team, you naturally want to spend the night in comfort. At Bungalowpark Het Verscholen Dorp, tranquillity, space and privacy are key. Our detached accommodations are available for up to 6 persons, but on request also for 8 persons. Does your dog love cycling too? Great, because most of our accommodation is very pet-friendly. Our comfort bungalows can be booked with a dishwasher, covered terrace and a fireplace as standard. Will you also choose a stay in a comfortable bungalow, lodge or chalet during your participation in the World Agility Open in the Netherlands?
Besides cycling the most beautiful routes with your dog, you can do many more fun things from our park. Take a walk through the beautiful forests, over the purple moors or along the sand drifts. Tip: visit Landgoed Staverden, with its own beer brewery, or one of the many museums in the area. The Veluwemeer is also a beautiful recreational area, on the Erkemederstrand your dog can have a great time. The off-leash area is open all year round. Need a day of relaxation during the World Agility Competition? Then pay a visit to Thermen Bussloo. The fishing town and Hanseatic city Harderwijk, the versatile city Amersfoort or Hanseatic city Zwolle are also worth a visit during your stay. Of course, you can also enjoy yourself on the park itself at one of our facilities.

Yes, you can walk straight into the woods from our park. Within walking distance of our holiday park is a lovely nature reserve, the Strokelbos is an off-leash area, where your dog can run free. Definitely worth a visit!
During the WAO we make an exception, we know that the dogs participating in this competition are very well-educated and usually sleep in the bench in the car. So feel free to book and write in the comments section that you are participating in the WAO and how many dogs are travelling with you. We will then adjust this in the reservation.
